JG Supports The New Children's Hospital Appeal

On the 7th May 09, we girls at Jean Genie hosted a charity night in aid of The New Childrens Hospital, Manchester.

It is such a fantastic place & the aim was to raise money through our epic charity raffle to help them provide better treatment & diagnosis for young patients that attand the hospital & to provide parents with facilities & accomodation in the times that they need to be together.

So we rallied up the troops & how the wine flowed !!!

The lure of a goody bag with all purchased raffle tickets spured people to donate generously along with the chance to win some amazing prizes !!

Our wonderful suppliers Wrangler donated a pair of Men's & Ladies jeans, as did Hilfiger. Local Celebrity, Tee and Toast & Famous Forever donated a selection of slogan, retro & vintage print tee's.

But generousity didn't stop there, local businesses got onboard too & we received restaurant vouchers from Chroma & The Horse & Jockey, Chorlton. Artwork was donated by Jack Lloyd at Creative Recycling on Beech Road. The fantastic Bernadette Delaney donated a photography session & happily clicked away on the night.

Refresh Catering Emporium donated a gorgeous basket of yummy treats & we even managed to get our hands on a signed football from Sean Wright-Philips of Manchester City !!

With the help of the girls from The New Childrens Hospital Appeal, our fantastic customers, suppliers, local businesses & copious amounts of vino we managed to raise nearly £500 on the raffle !
